Celebration, the latest documentary, about Yves Saint Laurent has, finally, been released .
Though the documentary was commissioned by the partner of Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Bergè , he decided to block its release without seeing it, until now, where it is finally available for public viewing . The documentary was produced over a period of two and a half years , where the director, Olivier Meyrou, and a filmcrew, followed Yves Saint Laurent in the making of his last collection and in some ways , his final days in French Haute Couture . The film was ready to be shown at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2007 and will now premier on the 14th of November 2019 .
