Vintage style can been seen in the countryside, some perhaps even unintentional .

Tweed and rubber boots have come to stay, as the practical and warm items that they are and can been worn as fashion statements, by the fashion insider . My husband, once referred to friends of mine, a married couple, as your poor friends . He said it with a sense of humor, as he did not care, whether my friends were poor or not, but from the way they dressed .

My husband could not care less, about fashion, in any form and all he saw was well worn tweed , wool, rubber boots, scarves and corduroy . He was not interested in the labels in the neck of the clothings, which of course were Miu Miu , Prada and Chanel .

I liked the style and was, almost, impressed with the casual way these very expensive items were thrown together, which they probably were not, they were most likely, put together with nearly surgical precision . But stylish it was .

We have some items at vintagegurus.com that fits in this category and others can be found at networkvintage.com , but the style is quite easy to find in thrift shops, if you concentrate on the quality . Look for tweed, wool, silk and cashmere in subtle colours that will mix together, like olive, brown, rust and burgundy .
